This is a data mining management reporting tool for interrogating large databases. It is designed to provide a non-technical user with a rapid and intuitive means of making sense of large bodies of personal data. The user interface is built using Adobe Flex™. It communicates with a database on the server; each query, when invoked for the first time, involves a round-trip to the server.
- Clicking on any of the profile bars to the right selects or deselects that element.
- Clicking one of the coloured elements in the outcome bars to the left selects the category.
- Clicking on the title above an outcome bar gives a drill-down window, which changes as selections are made.
- Set Profile stores the profile and allows comparisons to be made.
Note that this application was developed for a client who wishes the details to be confidential. We have therefore changed the subject matter.
